We are excited to share that HBK has released the latest updates for their Sound Level Meter (SLM) apps. These updates include new features, enhancements to existing tools, and the introduction of a highly anticipated new app: Noise Partner Android!
Noise Partner Android – now available!
After many customer requests, HBK is proud to launch Noise Partner Android.
This new app is designed to complement the existing iOS apps, offering a convenient tool for those who prefer to work with Android devices when managing sound level meters on site.
Key features of the app include:
- Full access to setup menus for changing measurement, display, and system settings.
- The ability to create metadata fields and templates.
- Support for building acoustic measurements.
- Complete control of the sound level meter via your Android device.
Noise Partner Android works in tandem with existing sound level meter software, allowing current users to benefit from the new app without requiring additional hardware. It’s now available for download on the Google Play Store.
Building Acoustic Partner – new grouping features
In this release, HBK has added the ability to create project groups in Building Acoustic Partner, simplifying the management of multiple projects. This feature follows a similar update made to the Enviro Noise Partner app in a previous release.
Another significant enhancement is the ability to select frequency ranges and bandwidth after measurements. This allows users to capture all relevant data during the measurement process while focusing on the necessary data for reports, particularly useful for low or high-frequency investigations.
Enviro Noise Partner – Advanced FFT cursors
HBK has also introduced new FFT cursors in the PC version of Enviro Noise Partner. These include options like Delta, Reference, Harmonic, and Sideband, providing users with more flexibility for data analysis.
Additionally, a new cursor table has been added to make data viewing more intuitive, and the software now supports FFT analysis according to standards like ISO 1996-2:2007 and Denmark 1984/1991.
These updates reflect HBK’s commitment to continually enhancing their software based on user feedback. We are excited to see how these new tools improve your sound level measurements and analysis!
