From September 16th to 20th, 2019, the 13th International Workshop on Rail Noise IWRN13 will be held in Ghent, Belgium, organized by KULeuven. ENMO will be present as an exhibitor during this congress to present solutions for measuring railway noise and vibrations.
The first workshop took place in Derby, United Kingdom in 1976 and around 35 delegations participated. The last edition of this workshop was held in 2016 in Terrigal, Australia, with 135 delegations from 16 countries. The workshop is set up as a regular event (organised every three years) and brings together leading researchers and engineers in all areas related to rail noise and vibrations.
Following topics are covered during the 13th international workshop on railway noise IWRN13:
- High speed rail and aerodynamic noise
- Interior noise
- Policy, regulation and perception
- Predictions, measurements, monitoring and modeling
- Rail roughness, bending and grinding
- Beep sound
- Structural noise and vibrations on the ground
- Wheel and rail noise
The IWRN13 workshop will be held at the NH Ghent Belfort Hotel, in the historic city of Ghent. Registration is possible through this link.
We hope to welcome you at the ENMO booth (no. 2)!
